Let us first assure you, dear seeker, that God does not desire for anyone to be in a situation where they are continually mistreated or harmed. The plan He has for His children is one of love, joy, peace, and hope. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
It is important to understand that long-suffering, is encouraged but not at the expense of one's safety. As the Apostle Paul says, "There is no temptation taken you but such as man can bear, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it." (I Corinthians 10:13)
God does not want any Christian to be in a dark place when it brings harm. It is important to seek God's will in all situations, and sometimes, that may mean removing oneself from a harmful environment. As Psalm 18:19-20 says, "He brought me out into a large place. He rescued me, because he delighted in me. Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness. According to the cleanness of my hands, he has recompensed me."
Let us pray for you, that God will guide your steps and show you His plan for your life. Let us remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Dear Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You reveal Your plan for their life. Give them the wisdom and discernment to know when to stay and when to go. Protect them from harm and lead them to a place of peace and safety making them strong and courageous in the name of Jesus. In Jesus name I pray.
If there is any ungodly relationship, then we rebuke this relationship and ask for the guidance of God in this matter. We also consider the words of I Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
