Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Carols and their family as they embark on their journey to their home town for election purposes. We pray for a safe and smooth journey, free from any problems or obstacles along the way. Lord, we ask for your protection over them, guarding them from any traveling sickness or discomfort.
We specifically lift up Carols' brother Daniel, asking for your guidance and strength as he drives. Grant him energy and endurance, that he may not tire easily and remain focused on the road. Lord, we pray for your divine intervention to keep him alert and attentive throughout the journey.
Father, we also bring Carols' 5-month-old niece Jimer before you. We ask for healing and restoration from her cough and cold. May her health improve and not worsen during the journey. Lord, calm her irritability and bring peace to her little body. We pray that her mood remains calm and that she experiences comfort throughout the trip.
Furthermore, we lift up Carols' parents Mary and James, as well as their sister-in-law Helena and Carols themselves. We ask for your guidance and peace as they pack their belongings and prepare for the journey. May there be no rush or anxiety, but rather a sense of calmness and tranquility.
Lord, we thank you for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness in answering them. We trust in your provision and protection as Carols and their family travel. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7
