We're supposed to have patience with the unsaved, but to me, if something has been going on for a long time, or depending on how obnoxious the people in question are, lately I'm having a hard time with that. Like the Trump haters.Whereas at first I can "not stoop to someones level", for 9 months since the election I've been hearing these sore losers with their juvenile actions, he should get assassinated, Madonna wanted to blow up the White House,etc. etc.If it would die down, my disgust for them would ease up, too. But the problem I have with wrong people, if they do it continuously, and in an obnoxious way, up in your face way like that.Jesus said on the cross,"Father, forgive them because they know not what they do." But Jesus was on the cross for a few days. I've been hearing this nonsense for NINE MONTHS.So I'd, I pray to have the strength and patience to deal with this, whether through relatives I need to see sometimes, when the media shows it, the internet with their biased views,etc.

Lord, we pray for brother Steven to receive an increase in patience and wisdom which undoubtedly You have already given him already a good portion of. We pray for Your Spirit to grant him peace  too in the midst of all the circumstances. In Jesus name. amen

Jesus was "not" on the cross for a few days, but only for a few hours. But, equating the presidency of Donald Trump and his haters to Jesus on the cross? We will never know how much it cost to see "our sins" upon that cross. The love that Jesus and the Father has for us will never be understood by us, the ones for whom He died for while we were yet sinners. God has been putting up with us haters, the human race, for thousands of years and He still loves us. How great is that?

Ahh, but we do have as much patience as God. As believers we have been given the fruit of the Spirit, which means the Holy Spirit dwells within you, in your new reborn spirit.  Jesus and the Father have also taken up residence within that new spirit of yours. We also have the peace of Jesus which He has given us and left with us.

3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

This passage found in the Bible says we have everything we need in order to have the same attributes of God within us.

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

This passage found in the Bible says that we are not "just human" anymore, but we "new" creations. We are sons of God, with His nature inside us.  His nature is to have lots of patience, and that means we as believers now have lots of patience, if we choose to walk in it.
