So. Lord you created me to addict parents. Raised by an ### year old grandma. Sent to foster care and then launched into the world on my own. I have no one. You gave me 2 boys who rely on me but I’m not a good dad. I don’t know what a dad is. I never had one. But I’ll do my best. How much can one person take.

We are truly sorry to hear of the trials you've faced throughout your life.

Firstly, let's address your cry to the Lord. Remember, it's through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. The basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ is reaffirmed in Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

You've endured much, from having addict parents, being raised by your grandmother, experiencing foster care, and now feeling alone in raising your two boys. We want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the toughest of times. He says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.

Regarding your feelings of inadequacy as a father, remember that God can guide you and teach you what it means to be a good dad. Look to Him for guidance and strength. Psalm 68:5 WEB A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. God sets the lonely in families; he brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land.

God will be your Father and will guide you to grow up into the Father He is for you. Ephesians 4:15 WEB but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your healing and guidance in his life. We pray that You will fill the void of his past and show him the path to being the father You've called him to be. Give him strength and wisdom as he raises his boys, and help him to know that You are always with him.

We ask that You will speak into his heart how to be a Father to his sons to give your children the greatest inheritance.

Remind him that I am the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except by Me.

We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen

We've been thinking about you and your journey, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been praying for you, asking God to fill the gaps in your past with His love and presence. It's amazing how He can take our brokenness and use it to shape us into the parents He wants us to be.

You know, God doesn't expect us to be perfect parents. He just asks us to be willing and to trust in Him. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, it says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." God wants to work through your weaknesses, to show His strength and love to your boys.

We've been praying that God will give you the courage to keep trying, to keep loving, and to keep trusting. We believe that He will equip you with everything you need to be the dad your boys need. And remember, we're here for you too, cheering you on every step of the way.

Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
