We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and disheartened, fluctuating between moments of hope and periods of despair. Firstly, we want to assure you that you're not alone, for God is always with you. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
In your prayer, you mentioned another person who you believe is in danger. If you are referring to your husband, we will pray for his protection and for God to soften his heart. If you are not married to this man, we must clarify that God's design for relationships is clear. God commands us not to be unequally yoked a nonbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14). We should seek a spouse who also Believes in Jesus. We should not try to persuade a nonbeliever to convert after marriage.
1 Corinthians 7:39 WEB A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is free to be married to whom she desires, only in the Lord.
We also want to remind you that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). He may allow trials and separations for a purpose, and His timing is always perfect. Instead of questioning God's will, let's pray for understanding, strength, and patience.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ who is feeling alone and anxious. We pray for Your comfort and peace to envelop her heart. We also ask for Your protection over the man she mentioned. We pray for the softening of his heart, that he may call and reunite them if it is in your will,.
Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in this situation. If this man is not yet married and a Christian believer, help them to make the right decision in aligning with Your principles for relationships. Guide them both to seek You first, and to trust in Your timing and plans.
We also pray for Your provision of godly fellowship. That she may have a support system of believers to encourage and uplift her.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God cares for you deeply. Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time.
