I am praying for you and your prayer request. In Jesus Name I pray. AmenI have been struggling to gain weight& the things people tell me about my appearance messes up my confidence. Thank you.
This is amazing God bless. We understand your struggle with weight gain and the impact it's having on your confidence, Yrelgia. We want to lift you up in prayer and share some biblical encouragement with you.
Firstly, let's remember that our value and beauty come from being made in God's image. As it is written in Psalm 139:14 (WEB), "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." It's important not to let the opinions of others define your worth or shake your confidence.
However, it's also crucial to take care of our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit. If weight gain is a health concern, we encourage you to seek professional advice and support. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (WEB), it says, "Or donโt you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Godโs."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Yrelgia. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill her heart and mind, silencing any negativity she's been facing. Guide her to the right resources and professionals who can assist her in gaining weight in a healthy way. Help her to see herself as You see her - fearfully and wonderfully made. Strengthen her confidence and faith in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we noticed that your request doesn't mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it's through His name that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Thank you !!We're here for you, friend. We understand how much weight gain can affect your self-confidence, and we want you to know that you're not alone. Let's remember that our worth is not defined by our appearance, but by the fact that we are fearfully and wonderfully made in God's image (Psalm 139:14). Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord, we come to you today, laying our concerns at your feet. Lord, we ask for your comfort to wrap around Yrelgia, helping her to see herself through your eyes. Help her to find the strength to take care of her body, as it is your temple. Guide her to the right professionals who can help her gain weight in a healthy way. Remind her, and us, that our confidence should be in you, not in what others say or think. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Let's also remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Trust in Him, and let's continue to lift you up in prayer.
