We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's protection and mercy during these severe weather conditions. Let's hold onto the promise that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" Psalm 46:1.
Let us pray:
Almighty God,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up all those affected by the severe thunderstorms and potential flooding. We pray for Your divine protection and mercy over the communities facing these adverse conditions. May Your mighty hand guide us.
"For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways" Psalm 91:11.
We pray for the safety of everyone in the path of these storms. Comfort those who are frightened, and grant wisdom and discernment to local authorities and emergency responders as they make crucial decisions.
Lord, we also pray for the minimization of damage and the quick restoration of any disruptions caused by these storms. Help us to trust in You, even in the midst of uncertainty.
And we thank you that we have access to you in Jesus Christ.
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." John 14:6

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
