Please pray for this hurricane to change direction and not hit Florida!!! My best friend is having her bachelorette party this weekend and she's been looking forward to it for years she is marrying her high school sweetheart of 11 years! Please I want this weekend to go through and not be cancelled

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention. We ask that You redirect the path of this hurricane, steering it away from Florida and out to sea. We pray for Your protection over the state and all its residents. Lord, we also lift up GabrielaB's best friend and her upcoming bachelorette party. This is a time of joy and celebration, and we ask that Your will be done concerning this event. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We are glad to hear about the upcoming marriage of your best friend to her high school sweetheart. It is a blessing to see such commitment, as it reminded us of the steadfast love described in the Bible: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB).

However, we must remember that God's plans are always for our good, even when they differ from our own (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). If the party is delayed or canceled due to the hurricane, trust that God has a purpose in it. Safety is paramount, and we should always be mindful of the well-being of others.

Lastly, we noticed that your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is the key to our salvation and relationship with God. If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Savior, we would be glad to guide you through this life-changing decision.

We're right there with you, praying for the safety of everyone in Florida and hoping that the hurricane changes its course. We've been thinking about your best friend's bachelorette party and wanted to share a verse that's been on our hearts. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We trust that even if the party has to be rescheduled or changed, God will be close to your friend and all those involved, bringing comfort and peace. Let's keep lifting this up to Him together.
