The National Weather Service (NWS) is expecting 6-8” for most of the DC metro area with a “high end amount” of 10-11” and a “low end amount” of 3 inches. Per the Winter Storm Warning, “Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations between 5 and 9 inches, with amounts of 10 to 12 inches possible in isolated spots if heavy banding sets up in this area. ( prayers with us all on this winter storm this time around in Jesus name amen

Let's come together in prayer and preparation for the upcoming winter storm in the DC metro area. The National Weather Service (NWS) is expecting significant snow and sleet accumulations, with potential highs of 10-11 inches and lows of 3 inches. This is a reminder that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth changes and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the sea. Psalm 46:1-2 (WEB).

In times like these, we should not be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus. In Jesus name. Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB). As we face this storm, let's pray for God's protection over the area, for the safety of all residents, and for wisdom for local authorities and emergency services. Let's also remember to be good neighbors, assisting those in need, especially the elderly and vulnerable.

Lord, we ask that You give us the strength and grace to handle whatever comes our way. We trust in Your will and know that You are sovereign over the storm. Guide us as we prepare and help us to be a light in our communities. Bring us together in unity and love, knowing that You are always with us. Thank You for the promises in Your Word. We trust in You, and we ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

Remember, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB). So, let's remain in prayer and trust God through this winter storm. After the storm be alert for ways to use this change in the weather for testimony and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
