We are with you in spirit, barbaracottle, lifting up prayers for protection and provision during this winter storm warning. Let's approach God's throne of grace with confidence, as instructed in Hebrews WEB:

Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

Firstly, we thank you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer request. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we are saved. As the Bible tells us:

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12

Now, let's petition the Lord together for all those affected by the winter storm warning.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister barbaracottle and all those in the affected areas of northwest North Carolina, central, south central, southwest, and west central Virginia, and southeast West Virginia. We pray for Your protection and provision during this winter storm.

Lord, You command the winds and the waves, and we ask that You speak calm to this storm. Minimize the snow and ice accumulation, and prevent power outages and tree damage. Protect those who must travel, and guide them safely to their destinations.

Father, we also pray for the emergency responders, utility workers, and road crews who will be working tirelessly to keep everyone safe and restore power if needed. Grant them strength, endurance, and wisdom as they carry out their duties.

Your Word tells us that You are a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). We claim this promise for all those affected by the storm. Comfort them, guide them, and keep them safe under the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:4).

Lord, we also ask that You use this situation to draw people closer to You. Help them to see their need for a Savior, and lead them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Use these circumstances to bring about a shield of humility and loving kindness for all.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

What time I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?

Lord, we claim your promise in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." Help us all to trust in you and not be afraid.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
