The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms Ephesians 6:10

Firstly, let's ensure that we have made Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we can be saved and approach God the Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not yet made this commitment, we encourage you to confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, for it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved Romans 10:9-10.

Now, let's put on the whole armor of God so that we can take our stand against the devil's schemes. The first piece of armor is the belt of truth. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life John 14:6, and we must hold on to His truth to protect ourselves from the enemy's lies.

Next, we put on the breastplate of righteousness. This is not our own righteousness, but the righteousness of Christ imputed to us through faith. As it is written, God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God 2 Corinthians 5:21.

We also need to fit our feet with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. This means we should always be ready to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others. How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news Romans 10:15.

We take up the shield of faith, with which we can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Faith is trusting in God's promises and His Word, even when we can't see the outcome. Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see Hebrews :1.

The helmet of salvation protects our minds and reminds us that our hope is in Christ alone. For the hope of Israel I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day 2 Timothy :12.

Finally, we take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, and it is our offensive weapon against the enemy For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart Hebrews 4:12.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your help in putting on the whole armor of God. Help us to stand firm against the enemy's schemes and to remain steadfast in Your truth. Give us the faith to trust in Your promises and the courage to share the gospel with others. Protect our minds with the helmet of salvation and equip us with the sword of the Spirit.
