WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP ASAP
We were HOMELESS for over two months until the VOA got us in here. And it looks like BECAUSE of the VOA we're going to LITERALLY be HOMELESS AGAIN anytime now. BOTH Carla Kimble AND Nicole Shanika got FIRED for Scamming people, and we are one of the 38 people that they Scammed. Nicole Shanika was our case worker and Carla Kimble was her boss... We FINALY got a place that should and would NOT EVER pass the VOA Inspection according to this new guy that we'll get to in a minute. We caught Nicole in a lie about inspecting the place. It was and now is VERY OBVIOUS that she did NOT inspect this place. But wait it gets better. The deposits for the water and electric company should have been paid for almost two months ago now , AND the landlord Should have been paid her deposit and rent, BUT the VOA HASN'T PAID ANY OF THEM and now the Electric company is shutting the electric off, the water Dept is shutting the water off and the landlord wants us OUT NOW.. On the 14th or 15th of last month (July) Nicole stopped by to sign us up for HUD VASH, which by the way she NEVER DID. She was getting ready to go on vacation until the next Wednesday and SUPPOSEDLY wanted to tie up some loose ends. She made us fill out the Goals paperwork and even made a contract with Jozette and I that if she applies for two jobs a week the VOA would GLADLY pay for our rent for the next six months. So we obviously signed it. In case your wondering why Jozette is looking for a job, Nicole got her FIRED so we have only my income. Nicole screwed us out of several really good places and Jozettes job. Now we're stuck out in BFE where there is literally NO jobs available anywhere near here. OK now this new place has REDICULOUS plumbing Problems so of course we were told to get ahold of Carla, Nicole's boss while she was gone. So we tried and tried to get ahold of Carla for one of the many very SERIOUS water leaks that we had. As a matter of fact we have NO TOILET STILL... And we STILL have a water leak that Nobody is fixing because Nobody will get back to us. And our landlord is in Ohio with a family emergency.. But anyways FINALY we get a automated message saying that Carla Kimble no longer works for the VOA. We were also trying to find out why NOBODY has been paid in almost two months . Thank God they let us move in before they got paid. But anyways I finally got a message from JerryB@voamid.org (BUT his real name is Supposedly Tommy) saying that Carla Kimble didn't work for them anymore and that he took over her job and Nicole Shanika would be back to work Wednesday, and I believe this was a Monday or Tuesday when he sent that message. So Wednesday we emailed NicoleS@voamid.org and never heard a thing back from her. Finally Thursday or Friday we get an automated message saying that Nicole Shanika no longer works for the VOA. Come to find out they were Scamming people. NOW on to this New IDIOT. He will NOT answer our emails, he will NOT return our phone calls, and that's NOT the worst of it. When I FINALY got ahold of him he asked me to give him ALL OF THE INFORMATION for our case. He didn't know our name, our address, the landlords name, the landlords phone number, in other words he knows NOTHING about our case and told us that he CAN'T find ANY paperwork on our account WHAT SO EVER... He did stop by one time after I had to tell him where we live, to drop off some paperwork for legal Aid and he walked through the apartment and said this place should have and would have NEVER PASSED there VERY STRICT Inspection that they do Before they OK a place for the Homeless clients to move IN. He said he would have NEVER put us in this 150 year old place.. And ever since that day he will NOT answer our emails or our phone calls AT ALL PERIOD. The landlord called today, she wants us OUT of her apartment since she HASN'T been paid AT ALL from the VOA. The Electric company called today as well to inform us that they are Shutting our power OFF.. The water Dept will be shutting the water off any day now. So we are LITERALLY being Screwed by the VOA and as of right now will be LITERALLY HOMELESS AGAIN, this time BECAUSE OF THE VOA... So we've been SCAMMED by the VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA Here in Tennessee. We NEED your help more Now than we've EVER needed Anyone's help, PLEASE HELP US if there is anything that you can do for us. If this doesn't get straightened out ASAP we are going to be HOMELESS with NO WAY ON GODS GREEN EARTH to get any help or another place. There is another place out here that does what the VOA does BUT until the VOA Officially Closes our case they Can't do ANYTHING for us. We CAN'T get any response what so ever from the VOA, so we have NO WAY to get our case closed out so we can get some ACTUAL HELP... And Tennessee Valley just pay deposits, they don't pay first month’s rent like the VOA supposedly does. But something HAS TO HAPPEN ASAP. and like I said, he won't return our emails or phone calls. The VOA OBVIOUSLY is a SCAM .. As of today it's been almost two months and NOTHING has been paid and since early to mid July NOBODY will communicate with us from the VOA. And we've called the electric company and the water Dept and the landlord today.
