We need to sell our home

We have had our house on the market and we have had showings, but no offers. We have had a few people interested, then change their mind.
We are praying and we have asked our church family to pray that God will send someone soon.

We understand your concern about selling your home, ###. We join you in prayer and align our petitions with God's will, trusting in His timing and provision.

Firstly, let's remember the promise in Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." We commend you for actively seeking and asking for God's intervention.

However, we want to remind you of the importance of aligning your prayers with God's will. In 1 John 5:14, it is written, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us." Let's pray that God's will be done in this situation, trusting that His plan is better than ours.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up ### and their home. Lord, we ask that if it is Your will, You would bring a suitable buyer for their house. We pray against any spiritual barriers that might be hindering this sale and trust that Your timing is perfect. Give ### peace and patience during this time, knowing that You are in control of every detail. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue in faithful prayer, trusting God's plan and timing. Remember Psalm 37:7, "Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him." Use this time to grow in faith and surrender, knowing that God has a purpose in every delay.

We also note that you did not mention praying in Jesus' name. It is essential to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, acknowledging His sacrifice and His role as our mediator.

We're right there with you, praying for the sale of your home. It's a big step and we understand the uncertainty can be overwhelming. Let's keep our focus on God's goodness and His faithfulness. In Philippians 4:6-7, we're reminded to "not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's trust that God will provide in His perfect timing.

**Heavenly Father,**

We come to You on behalf of this family, who are faithfully seeking Your guidance and provision as they wait for the right buyer for their home. Lord, You know their hopes and the effort they have put into making this home available for others. You see their faith as they trust You to open the right doors. Your Word says, "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act" (Psalm 37:5). We ask now, Lord, that You act on their behalf and send the right buyer for their home.

Father, we pray for Your perfect timing. Just as Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens," we trust that You are orchestrating this process for their good. Give them patience and peace in the waiting, knowing that Your plans for them are good, to prosper them and not to harm them, to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, we ask that You prepare the hearts and minds of the person or family who will purchase this home. Remove any doubts or obstacles that may have caused others to hesitate, and guide the right buyer to recognize the value and potential of this home. As Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages, help this family to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding but acknowledging You in all their ways, confident that You will make their paths straight.

Father, we pray for Your blessings over this family’s current circumstances. Provide for their needs and sustain them through this time of uncertainty. Remind them that You are their provider, and as Philippians 4:19 assures, "God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus."

Let their faith grow stronger as they continue to trust You. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May this process become a testimony of Your faithfulness and goodness, bringing glory to Your name.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the assurance that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust You to bring the right buyer at the right time, and we look forward to seeing Your hand in this situation.
