We stand with you in prayer, ###, as you face this distressing situation with your son and his family. Let us bring this before the Lord, seeking His intervention and protection.
Firstly, we must remember that God is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9, WEB). Let us pray for your daughter-in-law and grandchildren, asking God to comfort and protect them, and to deliver them from their fear. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
We also pray for your son, that God will soften his heart and bring conviction upon him. We pray that he will seek help and turn away from his abusive behavior. "The King's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turns it wherever he will" (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). Remember, God can change even the hardest of hearts.
As you go to court, we pray that God will expose the truth and that justice will be served. "For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known" (Luke 12:2, WEB). Trust that God is in control and that His will shall prevail.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the name of Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to God and His blessings. "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13, WEB).
Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up ###, her daughter-in-law, her grandchildren, and her son. We ask for Your protection and comfort, and we pray for Your intervention in this situation. Bring peace to their hearts, Lord, and let Your will be done. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please continue to trust in God, ###, and do not hesitate to seek further counsel from His Word and His people.
