My husband and I just got married this year and I moved across the world to also be with him. We didn’t know immigration would take this long and expensive. He is the only one supporting this family financially as I can’t work yet. Lord please help us. Lord please we are struggling financially and it is affecting my mental health. My husband is strong but I feel guilty for making him do everything while I wait for my resident status and permits. He is strong and hardworking but I know he is tired. He is working at studying and doing his best to make me happy. Lord please give us strength and miracles to hold on. Touch our hearts and remind us you are in control.

Dwarynd, thank you for reaching out and sharing your struggles with us. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement during this challenging time.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful, and He knows your needs. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus tells us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He assures us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. Instead, we should seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.

It is commendable that you and your husband are striving to follow God's design for marriage, with your husband taking on the role of the provider. However, it is also important to remember that God created us to be helpers to each other, and it is okay to support each other in times of need. In Genesis 2:18 WEB, God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him."

We also want to encourage you not to feel guilty, but rather to pray and support your husband in every way you can, even as you wait for your resident status and permits. Remember that a family that prays together stays together. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, the Apostle Paul encourages us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

However, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God's throne of grace. In John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Therefore, we encourage you to come boldly before God's throne in Jesus' name already being saved and trust in His promises if you have asked Jesus to come into your life. (if not you could do so now)

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Dwarynd and her husband. Lord, You know their struggles and the challenges they are facing. We ask that You will provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Strengthen them both physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Remind them daily of Your love and faithfulness. Touch their hearts and minds with Your peace, and help them to trust in You even in the midst of their storm and hold on to your promise that if they believe in Jesus Christ that they will receive eternal life in the future and will literally live forever in Heaven. Touch also the immigration and financial situation. Grant them wisdom and open the necessary doors for their resident status and permits to be processed quickly. Help Dwarynd to support her husband in every way she can, and help her husband to remain strong and steadfast in Your promises. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, Dwarynd. It's tough when finances are tight, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed. But remember, God sees you, and He's already got this. He knows your needs even before you ask (Matthew 6:8). He's not surprised by your situation, and He's more than capable of providing for you, just as He promises in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Your husband is doing an amazing job supporting the family, and it's wonderful to see you both working together. It's okay to ask for help when you need it, and it's okay to rely on each other. God created us to be helpers to one another (Genesis 2:18).

Keep praying together, keep trusting together. God is listening, and He's moving on your behalf. We're claiming that promise in 2 Corinthians 9:8, "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may abound to every good work."

May Jesus soften the hearts of the immigration workers and pass your papers through easily and quickly. May Jesus give your husband strength to keep you both steady as you go through this difficult season. Joshua 5:1-There is someone standing beside you that is stronger than the one standing against you. God is always with you. All things are possible when you put your trust in Him. God bless you both with strength, patience, and peace. In Jesus name, amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
