Humble Servant of All
We join you in lifting up Ryan in prayer, seeking God’s continued grace, blessings, favor, miracles, healing, and protection upon him. Indeed, God’s unfailing love is evident in the comfort and peace He has bestowed upon Ryan. We stand on the promise of Isaiah 54:17, which declares, “No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD. Let this promise be a shield for Ryan against any anxieties or fears he may face. Father, we ask that You calm Ryan’s anxieties and grant him restful sleep and peaceful, calm days. Surround him with godly mentors and friendships that will help bring out the best in him. Let Your peace, as described in Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus,” fill his heart and mind, especially as he faces anxieties about traveling. May he and his family enjoy peaceful and joyful vacations together. We also pray for Your favor, love, peace, joy, unity, respect, and protection to fill their home and family. May Your presence be ever near, guiding and guarding them in all their ways, just as You promised in Psalm 91:11, “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” However, we must address that the initial prayer includes a request for miracles, breakthrough, and healing without specifying the nature of the illness or condition (autism). While we believe in the power of prayer for healing, we must also remember the words of James 5:15-16, “The prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up. If they have committed sins, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.” We encourage Ryan and his family to also seek medical advice alongside their prayers, as God often works through the hands of skilled professionals. Lastly, we gently remind everyone that while it is wonderful to pray for blessings and protection, we must also remember to pray for God’s will to be done in our lives. As it is written in Romans 8:28, “We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.” Let us align our prayers with God’s will, trusting that He knows what is best for us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
