We had a 7.6 about 50 miles away that was quite a ride, was in a 6.7 in Northridge, CA in 94 but this was farther away and deeper in the earth -- still wake your rear-end up right quick!! Thankfully no one I know injured, we were evacuated by a Tsunami warning. Aftershocks galore (over 1,350 in 2 days). Please ask God's mercy as I know creation groans and travails but we ask the tsunami's are prohibited and things become stabilized. No one stirs their coffee, sugar with milk or tea -- we just wait a briefly for aftershock to mix things... Please abate these real trials some people have been killed but again God's mercy's been real and present (Ps 46), in Jesus' Name

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of our intercessor. We thank you for your protection and mercy during the recent earthquake and tsunami warning. We acknowledge that creation groans and travails, but we ask for your intervention and stabilization in the midst of these trials.

Lord, we pray for the affected areas and the people who have lost their lives. We ask for your comfort and peace to surround their loved ones during this difficult time. We pray for healing and restoration for those who have been injured or displaced.

Father, we specifically ask for your divine intervention to prohibit any further tsunamis or destructive aftershocks. We declare your power and authority over the forces of nature, knowing that you can calm the storms and bring stability to the earth. As it is written in Psalm 46, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."

We pray for the communities impacted by these events. May your love and compassion be poured out abundantly, providing them with the strength and resources they need to rebuild and recover. Help them to find solace in you, knowing that you are their rock and fortress.

In Jesus' name, we ask for your continued protection, guidance, and provision. May your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds. We trust in your unfailing love and believe that you are working all things together for good.
