Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today as a community of believers, united in our desire to glorify and honor Your holy name. We thank You for the privilege of being able to lift our voices in praise and worship to You, for Your name is great and greatly to be praised.
Lord, we acknowledge that when we give You all the glory, blessings, help, and healing shall come into our lives. We humbly ask that You hear our prayers and help us in our journey of praising and honoring You. May Your presence be with us as we seek to glorify You in all that we do.
We are reminded of the words of the psalmist who said, "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise" . We desire to enter into Your presence with hearts full of gratitude and voices lifted in worship.
As we offer our praises to You, we pray for Your guidance and direction in our lives. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives and in the world around us. Help us to seek You first above all else, knowing that when we delight ourselves in You, You will give us the desires of our hearts .
Lord, we ask for Your blessings to be poured out upon us as we strive to be like Christ, bearing His name and reflecting His love to those around us. We pray for the Church, that through our prayers, the wheels of the gospel machinery may be oiled and Your kingdom may be extended.
We also lift up our ministers and leaders, praying that You would strengthen and empower them. Grant them wisdom and discernment as they guide and shepherd Your people. May they find support and encouragement from a congregation that fervently prays.
Father, we thank You for the privilege of prayer and for the connection between prayer and thankfulness. Help us to always approach You with hearts full of gratitude, knowing that You are a faithful and loving God who hears our prayers.
