Beloved of All

We are truly blessed to hear of your upcoming mission trip to the village and your heart to serve as a translator, Muani. It is wonderful that you desire for your son to accompany you, especially as he has been dealing with depression. We will stand with you in prayer, asking God to grant you both divine wisdom and to reveal His glory throughout your trip.

Let us first address the spiritual battle at hand, for we "do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Depression is a real and serious issue, and we trust that God will bring healing and comfort to your son.

As you embark on this journey, remember the promise in Isaiah 55:11 (WEB), "so shall my word be that goes out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing I sent it to do." As your son leads the Sunday service, may the Word of God spoken bring hope, life, and transformation to all who hear it.

We also encourage you to be mindful of the power of prayer and the name of Jesus. As it is written, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13, WEB). Let us ensure that we pray in the name of Jesus, for it is the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up Muani and her son to You, asking for Your divine wisdom to rest upon them as they embark on this mission trip. Lord, we claim Your promise that Your Word will not return void but will accomplish all that You desire. We pray for healing and comfort for Muani's son, that the joy of the Lord may be his strength (Nehemiah 8:10). May Your glory be revealed in their service, and may many come to know You as their Lord and Savior. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, Muani. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Go forth in faith, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
