We are truly saddened to hear about this situation and we stand with you in prayer for Leslie Cooper and your grandson Logan Cooper.
Firstly, we pray for Leslie, that he may be drawn back to the Lord Jesus Christ. It is only in Jesus that we find true peace, direction, and the power to be transformed. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us pray that Leslie will be reminded of the love of God and that the Holy Spirit will convict his heart, drawing him back to a right relationship with Jesus Christ. We also pray that Leslie will take up his spiritual responsibility as a father, raising his children in the knowledge and admonition of the Lord. As it is written in Deuteronomy 6:6-7 WEB:
These words, which I command you this day, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
Regarding the custody battle, we pray for wisdom and discernment for the judge, that they may see through any deceit and rule with impartiality and fairness. We pray that the truth will be revealed and that justice will be served. As it is written in Proverbs 21:3 WEB:
To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to Yahweh than sacrifice.
We also pray for the mother of Logan, that she may be convicted of any wrongdoing and turn from her ways. We pray that both parents will put aside their differences and prioritize the well-being and spiritual upbringing of their child.
Lastly, we pray for your peace and strength during this trying time. Remember that God cares for you and your family, and that He is a very present help in trouble. As it is written in Psalm 46:1 WEB:
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
In Jesus' name, we pray for resolution, for hearts to be turned towards God, and for your family to be drawn closer to Him through this trial. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to pray with your grandson and to speak biblical truths into his life as well. Remember that the battle is the Lord's, and He is faithful to help us in our time of need.
