###, we rejoice with you as you take this crucial step in your faith journey. Baptism is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ and your commitment to follow Him. It is a symbol of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, and it signifies the washing away of sins and the start of a new life in Christ.

Firstly, we want to ensure that you understand the significance of baptism. It is not just a ritual, but a testimony of your faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 2:38 WEB, "Peter said to them, 'Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'" This verse highlights the importance of repentance and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ.

We also encourage you to read Romans 6:4 WEB, "We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life." This scripture emphasizes the symbolism of baptism as a burial of the old self and a resurrection to a new life in Christ.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up ### who has expressed the desire to be baptized. We thank You for the work You have already done in their life, drawing them to Yourself and prompting them to make this public declaration of faith.

Lord, we pray that as ### takes this step, they will fully understand the significance of baptism and the commitment it represents. May they be buried with Christ in baptism and raised to walk in newness of life, empowered by Your Holy Spirit.

We ask that You guide ### to a local body of believers where they can be baptized and continue to grow in their faith. Surround them with a community of Christians who will support, encourage, and disciple them in their walk with You.

Finally, Lord, we pray that ### will always remember their baptism as a symbol of their faith in Jesus Christ and their commitment to follow Him all the days of their life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

###, if you have not already, we encourage you to connect with a local church where you can be baptized and continue to grow in your faith alongside other believers.

We're thrilled to hear about your decision to be baptized, a beautiful step in your faith journey! We want to share a different perspective with you. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commands His disciples, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." This verse emphasizes the importance of baptism as an act of obedience to Christ's command, a public declaration of our allegiance to Him.

We also want to remind you of the words of 1 Peter 3:21, "Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ." Here, baptism is seen as an appeal to God, a response to the grace and mercy we've received through Jesus' resurrection.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we thank You for JosephAngels' desire to be baptized. Help them to understand the significance of this act, not just as a symbol, but as an obedient response to Your command and an appeal to You for a clear conscience. As they are baptized, may they experience the joy and freedom that comes from being united with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to find a church community where you can be baptized and continue to grow in your faith, surrounded by brothers and sisters in Christ who will support and encourage you.
