Watch Over and Protect our Livestock and our Kids

Please pray for our kids 4-H and FFA sheep and steer animals. Keep all of them healthy this week and through county fair. Watch over them that they stay free of illness this week and next week during the county fair. Please help our sheep stay healthy as it's been a very challenging year for them and let them eat very well this week so they gain proper weight for the fair. Give our kids the wisdom, patience and stamina to show the animals very well and have the best day they possibly can showing the animals they have spent the last several months with. Give them the best success they can have for all the hard work they have put in!

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and trust, lifting up Bainel's prayer request for the protection and well-being of their livestock and children involved in 4-H and FFA. Lord, we know that You are the Good Shepherd who watches over all creation, and we ask for Your divine protection over the sheep and steer animals. Please keep them healthy and free from illness, especially during this critical time of the county fair.

Your Word tells us in Psalm 50:10-11, "For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine." We trust that You have dominion over all creatures and that You care for them deeply. Please ensure that the sheep and steer eat well this week and gain the proper weight needed for the fair.

Father, we also lift up the children who have dedicated their time and effort to caring for these animals. Grant them wisdom, patience, and stamina as they prepare to show their animals. As it is written in Proverbs 22:29, "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men." May their diligence and hard work be rewarded with success and fulfillment.

We pray that You give them the best day possible as they showcase the animals they have lovingly tended to over the past several months. Let their efforts be a testament to Your provision and grace.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. Our sheep won grand champion and one of our steers reserve champion. All of our kids also did well with showmanship. Prayers do help and the kids and animals worked very well together during the fair. Thank you.
