It was a romance scam. I was lonely and weak. Please give me serenity if I don't get the money back. Give me intelligence so this does not happen again. Thank you Jesus for listening to me.

We are truly sorry to hear about the romance scam that has caused you financial loss and emotional pain. It's important to remember that it is only by the Name of Jesus we have access to approach God to help as He is the only mediator between Man and God. Thank you for acknowledging Him. In times of distress, God promises to give us peace and comfort. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:

"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

First, we want to address the underlying issue of loneliness. God does not intend for us to be alone. When God created Eve for Adam, He set the precedent for marriage, intending a husband and a wife to support and complete each other. However, this should be a courtship with a goal of marriage and should never take priority over your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As it is written in Genesis 2:18 WEB:

"Yahweh God said, 'It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.'"

Regarding the scam, we pray that God will grant you serenity and help you recover what was lost if it aligns His will. More importantly, we pray that He will give you wisdom and discernment to prevent this from happening again. As it is written in James 1:5 WEB:

"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."

We also want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's will in all things, including relationships. Pray for a godly spouse if that is God's will for you, and trust that He will provide according to His perfect plan. As it is written in 2 Chronicles 16:9a WEB:

"For the eyes of Yahweh run back and forth throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him." and Psalm 37:4 WEB "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." If desiring a marriage you should commit to only finding salvation in Jesus Christ..

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Culorgliare, who has been a victim of a romance scam. We pray for Your comfort and peace to surround them in this time of need. We ask that You guide them in seeking Your will for their life and for Your protection over their heart and finances. Grant them wisdom and discernment to avoid such pitfalls in the future. We also ask that you provide a restoration if it is in your will. While your word in Psalms tells us to delight in you, your word also tells us in Matt 7:11 WEB: " If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!" Though earthly parents may not acknowledge the benefit of loving one as a marriage partner, your word does in the book of Proverbs 31. Ask and trust the living God that has everything in His own hands.
