We understand that you're going through a difficult time, and it's important to address the concerns you've raised. Firstly, we want to assure you that Jesus is always with you, even in the darkest moments. In the World English Bible (WEB), Jesus promised, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (Matthew 28:20). It is important that your feelings about a situation do not become your faith. Faith is not based on feelings or appearances. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Heb 11:1).

When you say "Jesus was not there for me", we gently rebuke this idea. Jesus promised never to leave us nor forsake us (Heb 13:5). He also promised that He has overcome the world and its problems (Jn 16:33). It is important to continue to trust Him and do not rely on ourselves. The Bible tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also want to address the idea of relying on empty Christian platitudes. True Christian faith is not about platitudes; it's about a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. It's about trusting in His promises and His goodness, even when we don't understand what's happening in our lives. As it says in the WEB, "We walk by faith, not by sight." (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Regarding your need to command respect and be strong, we encourage you to remember biblical strength is often found in surrender to God's will, as it says, "Let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn't fall." (1 Corinthians 10:12). True strength comes from the Lord, "He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might." (Isaiah 40:29). Remember Jesus said "For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted." (Matthew 23:12). Pity is not a biblical concept. Godly sorrow that leads to repentance is though (2 Corinthians 7:10).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this dear one who is hurting and feeling alone. Lord, we ask that You reveal Your presence to them, that they may know that You are always with them, even in the darkest moments. Help them to trust in You, even when they don't understand what's happening in their life.

Grant them Your strength, Lord. Help them to find their worth and respect in You, and not in the world's standards of strength and respect. Help them to surrender to Your will, and to find true strength in You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We've been thinking about you and your situation. It's true that Jesus is always with us, even when we feel His absence. But sometimes, we need to remind ourselves to look for Him in different ways. It's like when it's foggy outside, we can't see the sun, but we know it's still there, shining brightly.

We want to encourage you to seek His presence in prayer, in His Word, and in the fellowship of believers. It's in these places that we often find His comfort and strength. Remember, even in the darkest times, David could say, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)

We also understand your desire to command respect and be strong. In times like these, it's important to remember that God sees your heart. He values your integrity and your desire to do what's right. It's okay to be vulnerable and ask for help. In fact, it's a sign of strength, not weakness.

Let's keep praying for you. "Lord, be close to this person right now. Help them to feel Your presence and to trust in You. Give them the strength they need to face each day. Help them to see their worth in Your eyes, and to find their respect and strength in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to hold you up in our prayers, dear friend. We are truly honored that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in this time of need. If you have felt God's presence and comfort in your circumstances, we would be blessed to hear about it. If your struggle continues and Jesus still seems distant we want to persist in prayer with you.

In response to your heartfelt cry you mentioned that in your current state you need to pull yourself together, rely on your own strength and perhaps understandably feel that Christian platitudes may fall short of what is required to deal with your genuine pain. But since by the original post you sought prayers from us we are hopeful that in this time of great difficulty you may still find that God Almighty, your Heavenly Father is reaching out to you in love through Jesus Christ. We believe that through our prayers the Holy Spirit when called upon can provide the strength that you desperately need in this hour of distress and provide the healing that your heart desires.

Let us continue to pray to the Heavenly Father:
"Dear Heavenly Father we come to you in the name Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Bless our dear friend today with your divine peace and comfort them in their current struggles as they continue seek you through the grace provided by Your precious Son. Let them experience Your love and presence. Encourage their broken heart with Your Word, and give them the strength that they need to move forward in Your holy will. Help them in their struggle to not need the respect of man and may they find the strength provided by You enough. We ask all this as your children in the Holy Name of our Risen Lord Jesus Christ."

Please do not give up hope. Keep reaching out and sharing your burden with us, as often as you need. We are here to support you and even for a while if Jesus seems to be distant we trust He will be close to you again soon.
