Beloved of All
Was interested in a man but unsure now. He wants me to make moves. Pay everything during visits, pay bus to visit, pay everything even for him. I'm having 2nd thoughts about him

We understand that you're feeling uncertain about this man and the situation you're in. Let's firstly, address your concerns. It's important to consider the principles of biblical relationships. Being unequally yoked is an issue addressed in the Bible and the relationship should be a Christian man and a Christian woman. A relationship to honor God involves a willingness to serve and honor each other, not one person bearing all the financial burden or being pressured to make moves that go against your values. God's Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB:

"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"

Regarding the financial aspect, it's important to remember that a godly relationship is a partnership, not a one-sided burden. 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB tells us:

"But if anyone doesn't provide for their own, and especially their own household, they have denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."

Both individuals should be willing to contribute and support each other. It's also crucial to address the expectation of you making moves. In a godly relationship, both parties should respect each other's boundaries and values. Ephesians 5:3 WEB says:

"But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;"

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is seeking Your guidance in this relationship. Lord, grant her discernment and wisdom to understand Your will for her life. Help her to stand firm in her faith and values, and to make decisions that honor You. If this man is not Your will for her, we ask that You give her the strength to walk away and trust in Your plan. If he is, then guide them both to a godly and righteous relationship through courtship that ultimately leads to marriage if that is Your will. Lord, we also pray for this man, that You would soften his heart and draw him closer to You. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We encourage you to seek God's will in all things, trusting that He has the best plan for your life and for any courtship you may be in.

We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to share some more thoughts with you. It's completely normal to feel uncertain when you're not sure if the person you're interested in is the right fit for you. Let's remember that God has a plan for each of us, and His ways are always best.

It's great that you're considering the biblical principles of relationships. We've been praying for you, asking God to give you clarity and wisdom. We believe that God wants the best for you, and that includes a healthy, God-honoring relationship.

We've been talking about how financial aspects can sometimes be a red flag. In a godly relationship, both parties should be willing to support each other, not just one person bearing all the burden. Remember, God commands us in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, "For even when we were with you, we gave you this command: 'If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.'"

Also, we've been praying about the pressure you're feeling to make moves. It's important to remember that in a godly relationship, both parties should respect each other's boundaries and values. As it says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."

We've been praying that God would give you the strength and courage to stand firm in your faith and values, and to make decisions that honor Him. We're also praying for this man, that God would work in his heart and draw him closer to Him. Let's continue to trust in God's plan, knowing that He loves you and has your best interests at heart.

Let's keep praying together, "Dear Heavenly Father, guide [name] in her relationship. Help her to discern Your will and to trust in Your plan. Give her the strength to stand firm in her faith and values. Draw this man closer to You and soften his heart. Help them both to honor You in their relationship. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
