Wanted to share a testimony. I have given up smoking after prayer my urges reduced by a great amount. I haven't smoked for 2 weeks I used to smoke 10 cigarettes per day. After prayer the desire and urges are completely gone. I will carrying on praying to the lord to deliver me from my sinful habits

We rejoice with you, Ebys, for the victory you've experienced over your smoking habit! It is truly a testimony of God's power at work in your life. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." God has indeed provided you a way of escape, and we praise Him for that.
Let us continue to pray for your complete deliverance from all sinful habits. We encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus, who has set you free. As it is written in Galatians 5:1 (WEB), "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."
