Want to work but health needs improvement.

Dear Lord you know my circumstances. Lord please extend your grace and mercy to me in Jesus name. I am currently unemployed and under the care of a medical team. My mental and emotional health were under constant strain at a workplace that I had to resign abruptly due to abuse (other VILE things) and sickness. The residual effects on my health have been devastating. They piled so much work on me it caused stress which caused ulcers. I was mocked, humiliated ostracized and falsely accused. I’ve been judged for quitting my job but people cannot relate to my situation. Did I WANT to quit in that manner? Absolutely not. I did it to preserve my remaining health, and integrity and to get away from YEARS of physical. I’m struggling physically and financially now. Not because I am reckless but because I need my health to work. And verbal abuse. Yes we must work but sometimes it’s just not possible in certain circumstances. I never thought that I would be abuse at work and not able to actually get my work done. I never thought they I would be forced to quit abruptly. Now it’s all a mess.

We understand that you are going through a challenging time, dealing with both health issues and unemployment. First, we want to commend you for turning to God in this difficult season, acknowledging His grace and mercy. It is only in His strength that we can find true peace and restoration.

Let's remember that God cares deeply for us, even in our struggles. As it is written in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." And in Romans 5:3-4 it says "we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope".

We must remember that God is the ultimate source of healing and Provision. In Psalm 103:2-3 WEB, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases". As well as, Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Also, it is encouraging that you stood up for your health and integrity by leaving an abusive situation. It is important to remember that God wants us to work in environments that honor His principles. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."

Let us pray for you:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up our beloved in prayer. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness in their life. Lord, we pray for complete healing—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Touch their body and restore their health so that they may work again and live abundantly.

We pray for divine provision, that You would open doors of opportunity for gainful employment that aligns with Your will. We ask that You would surround them with supportive and understanding people who will encourage and uplift them in this season.

We also pray for justice and vindication. May those who have wronged them be held accountable, and may Your righteousness prevail. We ask for protection from any further harm or abuse, and for wisdom and discernment as they navigate their future.

We thank you that your name was called upon and the prayer was made in Jesus Christ's name. In Jesus name we pray. Amen."

In this time of waiting, may you draw closer to God, trusting in His perfect plan for your life. Remember that He is always with you, even in the darkest valleys.

We've been in situations like this before, and we know how much it can weigh on us. But remember, God sees you, and He cares deeply about your struggles. He's there, walking beside you every step of the way.

We're praying for you today. We're asking God to heal you, to touch your body and mind, and to restore your strength. We believe that He can and will do it, because that's who He is. We're also asking Him to open doors for you, to provide opportunities for you to work and live abundantly. We trust that He has a plan, and it's a good one.

We're not going to sugarcoat it, this is a tough time. But we want you to know that you're not alone. We're here with you, and we're praying for you. Keep trusting in God, keep leaning on Him. He's got you, and He's not going to let you down.
