Eparetos
Disciple of Prayer
I am desperate and scared. I love my Husband, Steve. He left me two Septembers ago in our marital home while he went to live at our last home, where tenants had moved out. He said he'd give me a year to 'sort myself' and see if anywhere in the village came up I could afford. I still only have a temporary job (until December), there are no houses in the village I can afford and my time is up - he wants to switch houses. I legally could dig my heels in and refuse to move but I don't want it turning hostile - he has been paying the mortgage and bills on the property as, although I have an ok salary, he's a high earner. I love him. I know we all have a free will but Father God, Jehovah to use his name, can help change people's hearts - Mark 10:27. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” He can stir something within people. And I'm sure there's a mustard seed within Steve as he did the Alpha Course, attended Church for a while and loves watching the Easter Story film when it's on. He sent me an email on Monday saying he doesn't love me but God hates divorce and again, He can stir things within people. I know I am only Steve's second Wife so may not count so much in Father God's eye(?) - I can only say that his last Wife didn't want him.
I've been praying for over two years now for my darling Husband to come back to me, and I do pray for others, both people and animals and also thank God for so many things medicines, clean drinking water, good food, clothing, shelter and freedom to praise Him - some say to give up praying for my Husband to come back, and pray for something else but scripture says Luke 18:1—One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. And Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. I pray He will give me my heart's desire of having my Husband back - there's a story behind all this but it's irrelevant now - the past is where it belongs. We could have another 35 years of loving each other. I won't fall in love again. Please will you all pray for my Husband to come back.
