We commend you, Saraha, for your civic responsibility and desire to see God's will in the upcoming election. It is crucial that we, as believers, engage in the world around us and make informed decisions that align with biblical principles. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 29:2, "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, humbly asking for wisdom and discernment as we prepare to vote. Help us to understand the platforms of each candidate and see their true intentions. Guide us to vote for those who will protect the sanctity of life, including the unborn, and who will lead this nation in righteousness. Father, we ask that You surround this election with Your divine presence and that Your will be done. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
As you evaluate the candidates, consider their stance on issues that are close to God's heart. Protecting the unborn is paramount, as Psalm 139:13-14 tells us, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my motherβs womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
We encourage you to also consider their views on marriage, religious freedom, and other biblical principles. It is crucial that we elect leaders who will uphold these values. Remember, as Christians, our ultimate hope lies not in any political candidate or party, but in Jesus Christ alone. As Psalm 146:3-5 reminds us, "Donβt put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God."
May God grant you peace and clarity as you prepare to cast your vote.
