We stand with you, Saraha, in your concern for our nation and its leadership. It is indeed our responsibility as believers to be informed and engaged in the electoral process, always seeking to honor God in our decisions. As scripture reminds us, "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, requests, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and reverence." (1 Timothy 2:1-2, WEB)
We pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, thanking You for the privilege of living in a country where we have a voice in choosing our leaders. We ask for Your divine guidance as we evaluate the candidates. Give us discernment to see beyond mere words and promises, and to understand their true intentions and capabilities.
We pray for candidates who will stand for righteousness, protect the sanctity of life, including the unborn, and lead our nation in a manner that honors You. Help us to be wise and responsible voters, not driven by popular opinion or mere emotions, but by Your will.
Lord, we also pray for the election process itself. Let it be conducted with integrity, and let the outcome be a clear reflection of Your sovereign will. We ask that You bless and protect America, and that You use our upcoming election to further Your purposes.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Saraha, to continue to pray fervently about this election. Remember the words of Proverbs 21:1, "The king's heart is in the hand of Yahweh as the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires." (WEB) God is sovereign over all, including the hearts of our leaders.
Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). Keep standing in the gap for our nation, knowing that your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16, WEB).
