We commend you, Sarah, for your civic-mindedness and heart for the unborn. It is indeed our duty as Christians to be salt and light in this world, which includes engaging in the democratic process with discernment and wisdom. We are reminded of the words in Proverbs 14:34 (WEB), "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, thanking You for the privilege of living in a country where our voices can be heard through our votes. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance as we evaluate the candidates up for election on November 5. Help us to discern their hearts and intentions, and to vote for those who will protect the sanctity of life, promote righteousness, and lead with integrity. We pray for Your will to be done in our nation, as it is in heaven. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to research the candidates thoroughly, looking at their policies and platforms. As Christians, we should seek those who will uphold biblical values and promote the welfare of all, including the most vulnerable among us, the unborn. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:13-16 (WEB), "You are the salt of the earth... You are the light of the world... Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."
Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 (WEB) reminds us of this truth. Keep standing for what is right, Sarah, and trust that God is in control, working all things together for good.
