We understand your desire to win, Rulogel, but let's remember what the apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 10:31 (WEB), "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." Winning is not the most important thing, but rather, glorifying God in all that we do, including playing volleyball.
We also recall the words of Paul in Colossians 3:23 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, and not for men." We should strive for excellence and do our best, not for the sake of winning alone, but as an act of worship to God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Rulogel and their team to You. Lord, help them to play with all their hearts, not just for victory, but as an offering to You. Help them to display sportsmanship that reflects Your character. May they be a light to their opponents and spectators. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, Rulogel, it's not about winning all the tournaments. It's about playing in a way that honors God and points others to Him. Whether you win or lose, you can glorify God with your attitude and efforts. Also, we noticed that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it is through His name that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to keep this in mind in your future prayers.
