We understand that you are seeking a visa approval, and we want to pray with you. However, first we want to discuss a few things.
We are not just seeking for the favor of a visa officer. We are seeking God's will. It is important that whatever you are seeking a visa for, that it aligns with God's will. His purpose for allowing you to travel should be the main reason you are going and not just your own. If it is God's will, he will allow it. If not, He won't. We want to seek God's will in this matter.
One thing to notice is that in your request, you did not mention a request in Jesus' name. We must pray in Jesus' name. We have no access to God's will if not for Jesus' name. Jesus said in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." We also know from Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Knowing these things, let us pray for God's will together in Jesus' name. We want God's will even if that means not having the visa approved.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother ###. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in his life, including this visa approval process. We pray that if it is Your will for him to travel, that You would open the doors and grant favor with the visa officer. But if not Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your plan and purpose for him.
We pray that ### would seek Your face and Your will above all else. Help him to trust in You, even if the answer is not what he hopes for. We ask that You would guide his steps and direct his paths, always keeping him in Your perfect will.
We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is in His name that we have access to You, Father. It is only by His blood that we are worthy.
Amen.
