Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Maud Bvumbe ne Motsi. Lord, You know her struggles and the challenges she has faced as a political asylum seeker from Zimbabwe. She has submitted her fresh claim application for a visa approval with the UK Home Office on May 10, 2024. Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in her situation.
Your Word says in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We present Maud's request to You, Lord, and ask for Your peace to surround her.
Lord, we pray for favor with the authorities reviewing her application. We ask that You open doors that no man can shut and grant her the indefinite leave to remain visa she so desperately needs. Provide for her needs, Lord, as she is not allowed to work and is not on benefits. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust in Your provision for Maud.
We also pray for strength and encouragement for Maud during this difficult time. Let her feel Your presence and know that You are with her, as You promised in Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
