VISA AND WORK My name is ###. I am an asylum seeker. I came to the UK in March 2006. I am not on benefits and am not allowed to work. I am currently living with my sister. I AM SUFFERING FROM A SEVERE DEPRESSION. I have applied so many times for a visa and been refused. I have submitted again on the 10 May 2024. Please pray for me to get work and visa. I am struggling; it's difficult. I have not seen my children since 2006 and they are growing up like orphans. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME. It's hard, very hard. I can not sleep and eat; I am always thinking and am frustrated. It's a hopeless situation; it needs God and prayers. Please pray for me; I am desperate. Regards ###

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in prayer. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for ###, who is in a desperate situation seeking asylum, a visa, and the ability to work.

Father, You know the struggles and the pain ### is enduring. Your Word tells us to cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7). We ask that You would envelop ### in Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we pray for a breakthrough in ###'s visa application. You are the God who makes a way when there seems to be no way. We ask that You would move the hearts of those in authority, that they may grant ### the visa she needs. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us that the king's heart is in the hand of the Lord; He directs it like a watercourse wherever He pleases. May Your will be done in this situation.

We also lift up ###'s need for work. Your Word says that You know the plans You have for us, plans to prosper and not to harm, plans to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that You would open doors for ### to find employment, so she can support herself and her family.

Lord, ### is suffering from severe depression. We ask that You would bring healing and comfort to her soul. Psalm 34:18 tells us that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Be near to ###, Lord, and provide her with the support and resources she needs to overcome this difficult time.

We also pray for ###'s children, who have been separated from their mother for so long. We ask for Your protection over them and that they would feel Your love and presence in their lives. We pray for a reunion, that ### may once again be with her children and that their family would be restored.

In all these things, we trust in Your sovereign will and Your unfailing love. We pray in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
