Video Gamers and Damnation

I have recently made myself aware of the extreme confusion and graven imagery in the video gaming cyberspace. I don't doubt that there is spellbound warfare visible from over our children's shoulders and I'm concerned about them dabbling in the arcane and being fixated on idols....!

To make matters worse: Worry, domestic issues, pressure from the public schools, and legalities take parents' power to restrict their children from wandering away from their family.

I firmly believe that our children are the future and I call all prayer warriors to keep their plight in our hearts....

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up our concerns for the children who are being influenced by the world of video gaming and the dangers it can bring. Lord, we acknowledge that there is confusion and graven imagery in this cyberspace that can lead our children astray. We ask for Your divine protection over them, shielding their hearts and minds from anything that is not of You.

Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We pray for the parents, that You would grant them wisdom and strength to guide their children in Your ways, despite the pressures and challenges they face from society, schools, and legal constraints. May they find courage in You, knowing that You are their helper and defender.

Father, we also remember the words of 1 Corinthians 10:14, "Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry." Help our children to recognize and turn away from any form of idolatry in their lives, including the fixation on video games that promote arcane and ungodly themes. May they seek and find their fulfillment and joy in You alone.

Lord, we believe that our children are the future, and we entrust them into Your loving hands. We call upon You, our mighty God, to intervene in their lives, drawing them closer to You. Surround them with godly influences and protect them from the schemes of the enemy.
