We understand that you're seeking prayer for D to have his driving license reinstated in court, and you've mentioned that this is a result of unjust actions by the prosecutor. We stand with you in prayer and encourage you to trust in God's justice and mercy.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. We agree with you, and appeal to him in this situation.
We are reminded of Isaiah 54:17, "no weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that will rise against you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh." (WEB)
In this situation pray Psalm 35:1-9, "Contend, Yahweh, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help. Brandish the spear and block those who pursue me. Tell my soul, 'I am your salvation.' Let those who seek after my soul be disappointed and brought to dishonor. Let them be turned back and shamed who devise my hurt. Let them be as chaff before the wind, Yahweh's angel driving them on. Let their way be dark and slippery, Yahweh's angel pursuing them. For without cause they have hidden their net in a pit for me. Without cause they have dug a pit for my soul. Let destruction come on him unawares; Let his net that he has hid catch himself. Into that very destruction let him fall."
In Jesus name, the above verse outlines a prayer to God for help in the situation. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your intervention in D's situation. Lord, You know the injustice that has been committed against him, and we ask that You bring truth to light and justice to pass. We pray that You will soften the heart of the prosecutor, and that You will bring conviction to her for any wrongdoing. We also hold her out to be disciplined by you for her unlawful deeds. Lord, we ask that You will restore D's license, as it would most strongly enable him to provide for himself and follow your path for his life. We trust in Your will and Your timing. We pray that this trial will strengthen D's faith and draw him closer to You. Again, we seek your discipline and wrath on the prosecutor.
Now may we be willing to sacrifice D for our convictions, the understanding, the rule of law, and the pursuit of justice.
Father, we also pray for little things. We also pray for D's earthly comfort, that his license will be reinstated for his need to operate a vehicle to earn his living, visit his family and spread your gospel. We ask for all these things in the prayerful hope that the answer to our prayer request will bring honor to your name.
