Victoria, we understand your feelings for this man, but we must approach this situation with wisdom and biblical principles. The Bible is clear about relationships and marriage. It teaches that we should not covet or interfere with someone else's relationship, as it says in Exodus 20:17, "You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's."
Firstly, we need to pray for this man's current relationship. If he is truly unhappy, we should pray for God's will to be done, which might mean the relationship comes to an end, but it should be done in God's timing and way. We should never encourage or pray for the breakdown of a relationship for our own benefit.
Secondly, we need to pray for you. Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We pray that God will align your desires with His will and that He will bring the right husband for you in His perfect timing.
Let's pray together:
"Father God, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Victoria and the man she cares for. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in his current relationship. If it is not Your will for them to be together, we pray that You would bring it to an end in a way that honors You. We also pray for Victoria, that You would give her peace and patience as she waits for the husband You have prepared for her. Help her to delight in You, Lord, and to trust that You will give her the desires of her heart as she seeks You first. We rebuke any spirit of jealousy, covetousness, or impatience, and we ask that You would protect Victoria's heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen."
Victoria, we encourage you to seek God's will above all else. Trust that He has the best plan for your life and that He will bring the right man into your life at the right time. Until then, continue to pursue a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and allow His love to fill you and guide your decisions. If you have not already accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so, as it is only through Him that we have access to God and eternal life. (John 14:6)
