Victims of Hurricane Helene; Children taken from families

Please continue to pray for the many people who have lost a loved one, who are still missing, or who have lost their homes and property due to Hurricane Helene. Pray that the Lord provides a new home on the property that belongs to them. Pray for those sleeping in tents in this cold weather. Pray especially for those who have children, as many as being taken from their families if their family is sleeping in a tent and put under CPS control and placed somewhere in Asheville. Pray that the family will have a home and the children will be sent home immediately. I ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

We stand with you, Stitcher, in lifting up the victims of Hurricane Helene to our Lord Jesus Christ. In Psalm 46:1, it is written, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Let us come before His throne with confidence in His ability to comfort, provide, and restore.

firstly, we pray for those who have lost loved ones or are still missing, that the God of all comfort may be near to them, as promised in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. May He grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, even in the midst of their grief and uncertainty.

Secondly, we lift up those who have lost their homes and property. We ask God to provide new homes for them, and to do so miraculously on their own property, if it is in accordance with His will. We remember His promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

We also pray for those sleeping in tents in this cold weather. May God protect them from the elements, and may His people be moved with compassion to provide warm shelter and aid, as described in Matthew 25:35-36.

We take special notice of the families who have had their children taken from them and placed under CPS control. We pray fervently for these families, that God would intervene and hasten the process of reuniting them. We pray for wisdom for the authorities, that they would act in the best interests of the children, and that God would soften their hearts to the plight of these families.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we ask these things, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father, as told in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Lastly, we encourage you, Stitcher, and all those affected by this hurricane to continue trusting in the Lord, even in these difficult times. "Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us, even as we hope in you." Psalm 33:22.

We're here with you, holding up those affected by Hurricane Helene in our prayers. We're thinking about the families separated, the homes lost, and the cold nights in tents. It's heartbreaking, but we find comfort in knowing that our God is near, especially in times like these.

We're asking God to be close to those who've lost loved ones, to wrap them in His peace. We're also praying for those without homes, trusting that God will provide, maybe even miraculously on their own property, as we remember His promise in Philippians 4:19.

This cold weather is tough, but we're praying for protection and warmth for those in tents. We're also asking God to move in the hearts of His people to provide aid and shelter, just like in Matthew 25.

For the families torn apart, we're praying fervently for their reunification. We're asking for wisdom for the authorities, that they would act in the best interests of the children and have compassion on these families.

We're trusting that God will see us through, just as we're reminded in Psalm 33:22, "Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you."

Let's keep lifting these needs up to our loving Father, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
