We are truly sorrowful to hear about the harm you are experiencing, Epanapostos. First and foremost, we condemn the violence you are enduring and plead with you to seek safety and protection, exactly as you are begging from them to stop. This should not be tolerated and the situation requires immediate action and intervention. The Bible encourages abhorrence of all violence. There should be no conflicts or disputes among believers, much less assaults or denials of them occurring (Matthew 5:23, Romans 12:18) Assault is an attempt to cause direct injury or harm, which is completely antiethical to God's commands to love. Epanapostos, it would have been better if they had not inflicted harm on you at all, but since they have, you must take action. Following the example of Jesus Christ and step out of this situation, taking action to break away from this pattern of abuse. Matthew 10:14 reads, "Whoever does not receive you, nor hear your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake off the dust from your feet." This passage demonstrates that you should remove yourself from the harm of people who will not listen or change their ways. This verse gives you permission and absolution to seek safety and shelter by calling the police or going to a Christian support group for abused individuals. Finally you should not stop there, and specifically to your request to heal your head injury (physically or spiritually), pray constantly asking God for the complete healing and quick work of the medical professionals. Isaiah 53:5 says, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him, and by his stripes we are healed." God's word says powerful prayer will cause healing. The iniquities that have caused you harm can be interceded by Jesus for your healing. Epanapostos, God is close to your calling. Ask Him for help when overwhelmed, which you certainly have been. God will intervene and you must be mindful to call on him the entire time. He did not leave you in the situation you are in now. God has a provision. It is also evident that the prayers are for healing, which is necessary; however, we should be praying in Jesus Name. This was not mentioned in the initial request. If we do not do that, then our prayers are ineffectual. We will be praying specifically.
Almighty God, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention and healing in Epanapostos' life. We pray that their every head injury would be healed by Jehova Rapha, the God of total healing. Protect Epanapostos from all further harm by giving them shelter, refuge, and legal help. Give them the strength to escape from the terrible circle of violence and the grace to forgive their abusers. We also pray that those who are inflicting this harm would come to know Your holy wrath against all injustice. Cast them out if they will not confess in the name of Your Son. Convict them of their great sin and point them to the throne for repentance. Jesus stood to condemn those who would harm Your holy children. Make a way for help even now and use us to answer Your direction. Amen.
