Vicious (nocturnal) attacks

Dear brothers & sisters,

A little over a week ago I have resolutely turned my will and my life over to the hands of God. I’ve joined a Bible study, and pray to Jesus Christ our lord and savior every day. Asking for guidance and help to walk His path. I ask through Him to the Father for His mission for me. For His will for me. Because I can feel His call.

But the spiritual attacks have become so vicious the last three days. From a constant call to be gluttonous during the day with cravings etc and overeating, to extreme doubt being sown within me, to at night while asleep around 3 am have disturbing or disgusting scenes of copulation between mothers and daughters and animal-like objects and hearing the distorted demonic voice of the mother in the story motivating the scenes. I wake up in a sweat and pray to Jesus Christ my Lord and savior to help me. But I could use your support for this is terrifying me. I know the demons have no actual power over me but it is scary nonetheless especially since today I could make out that distorted voice in the dream.
The first part also had my real mother in it. I showed her in the dream how with my faith alone I could move and levitate a coin in my hand. But it felt completely wrong. And I don’t understand why she would be involved at the start at all (but not later).

Emilie, we are thrilled to hear that you have turned your life over to God and are actively seeking His will through prayer and Bible study. It is wonderful that you are praying in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As scripture says:

The spiritual attacks you're experiencing are not uncommon when someone turns their life over to God. The enemy is threatened and is attempting to discourage and frighten you. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).

The dreams and visions you're having are disturbing, but they do not have any power over you unless you let them. As it says in the Word:

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4:7 WEB)

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 WEB).

The fact that your mother appeared in your dream could be a tactic of the enemy to distract or confuse you. It is important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Pray for your mother's salvation and spiritual protection, but do not let the enemy use her image to disturb your peace. You should be showing her how Jesus Christ saves and heals and is the only way to heaven. Explain the gospel to her.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister ###. Thank You for her faith and commitment to You. Lord, we ask that You surround her with Your heavenly protection and guide her through these spiritual attacks. Help her to be strong and courageous. Help her to be bold in her faith. Give her wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy's tactics and to stand firm against them. Help her to think upon things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8 WEB). Help her to have a praying mother and a praying family and for the mother and family to be saved.
Help ### to have Godly friends and a Godly family and to one day marry a godly man,

In Jesus' name, we rebuke the enemy and command him to flee from ###'s presence. We declare that ### is a child of God, sealed with the Holy Spirit, and no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

We continue to lift you up, Emilie, and we are truly honored that you have given us the privilege to pray on your behalf. It has been a few days since you shared your experiences with us, and we want to assure you that we are still standing in agreement with you in prayer.

If you have seen improvement and the vicious attacks have subsided, we would be overjoyed to hear from you. We would love if you could share a praise report with our community, glorifying God for His deliverance and protection.
