Let us join together in prayer for Empulisse, our fellow brother in Christ, who has valiantly served our country and is now in need of support.
Firstly, let us remember the words of Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." (WEB)
We pray, dear Heavenly Father, for Empulisse, who has bravely served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. We ask that You, Lord, be his strength and shield in this time of need. We pray for divine intervention in his application for VA disability. Guide Rita Honeycutt, who is advocating on his behalf, and give her wisdom and resilience. Lord, we ask that every obstacle be removed, and Empulisse receives the help he needs and deserves.
Empulisse, we encourage you to stay steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord. Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). Continue to seek God's will and guidance in this situation.
We also gently remind you, Empulisse, that if you haven't already, bring this petition before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (WEB) It is through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. If you haven't already, consider this a call to renew or deepen your commitment to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
We stand with you in prayer, Empulisse. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his face toward you, and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26, WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
