We understand your urgency and desperation, but we want to remind you that God is not a genie who grants wishes and desires on demand. He is a loving Father who wants the best for us and knows what we need even before we ask Him. Let's align your prayers with the will of God and seek Him for guidance and provision.
Firstly, we commend you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. As it is written: We must also remember that God is sovereign and His timing is perfect. He may not work on our human timetable, but He is never late.
Let us pray together for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, You know the deepest desires of their heart, and we ask that Your will be done in their life.
Father, they cry out for miracles and wonders, and we ask for Your supernatural intervention in their life.
Father, they also cry out for a spouse, but we want to remind them that singleness is not a curse. In I Corinthians 7:8, 32-35, You tell us through Paul that it is good for them to remain single as he is. But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry: for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.
Father, please give them a rewarding life in You. Help them to live their life in a way that pleases You and brings glory to Your name.
Father, we also pray for their emotional well-being. They mention loneliness, misery, sadness, and sorrow. Lord, You do not want us to live in such a state. Please fill them with Your love, joy, and peace. Help them to be content, hopeful, and joyful in You.
Father, they also mention a lack. Please provide for their needs according to Your riches and glory. Help them to be content with what they have and to trust in You for provision.
Father, help them to surrender their desires and needs to You, and help them to trust in Your perfect will. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in God's perfect will and timing. Seek to be content where you are and to live a life that pleases God.
Remember that God wants to give us good gifts, but sometimes we ask with wrong motives. James 4:3 says, You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.
If you are not already doing so, please spend time in God's Word daily. Study, meditate on, and memorize scripture. Also, be in fellowship with other believers. We also encourage you to pursue courtship with a Christian believer if you desire marriage. Thank you.
