We understand your urgency and deep concern for your husband's spiritual well-being and your marriage. We will pray and provide guidance according to biblical principles.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is only by his name that we can be saved.
Your concern about the influence of false gods, idols, and Islamic beliefs in your husband's life is significant. God commands us to have no other gods before Him.
Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, “The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,” and, “A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.” For they stumble at the word, being disobedient, to which also they were appointed. But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
1 Peter 2:7-9 WEB
It is important to remember that God desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
Pray with us:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we pray that You will deliver him from any influence of false gods, idols, and Islamic beliefs. We claim Your promise that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Lord, we also pray for their marriage. We ask that You will bring total unity and agreement between them. May their relationship be strengthened, deepened, and protected in every way. Help them to understand each other deeply. Guide them to open up to each other in every way, and to do everything together. May they be closer than close in every way, totally compatible, and totally in love. May they become very best friends, soulmates, in every way.
We pray for this in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
Regarding your marriage, God's Word is clear that husbands and wives should submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it.
Ephesians 5:22-25 WEB
This does not mean blind obedience. God has given each person a free will. Each person is responsible for their own actions and decisions. Therefore, a husband is to love his wife as Christ loves the church and gave Himself up for her, and a wife is to respect her husband. It is a mutual submission, not a one-sided obedience.
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good. In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor preferring one another.
Romans 12:9,10 WEB
Finally, we must address that the Christian faith does not support the concept of "soul mates" as the world defines it. God does not destine only one specific person for someone to marry. Instead, God calls us to marry someone who is compatible and believing. We are called in marriage to demonstrate selfless, unselfish love that honors God and serves our spouse.
Let's continue to pray for your husband's salvation and for God's will to be done in your marriage. Keep trusting in God, and He will direct your paths and bring all things to pass.
