We understand your urgency and desperation, but we must address several issues in your request. First, let's pray together for the deliverance and salvation you are seeking for your husband.
Lord, you said in the Psalms, Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from the bloodthirsty men. Psalm 59:2.
And in the Gospels, And if the house is worthy, let your peace come on it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. Whoever doesn't receive you, nor hear your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake off the dust from your feet. Most certainly I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city, Matthew 10:13-15.
And your word says, God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it, 1 Corinthians 10:13.
We thank you, Lord, that you are able. You make a way, even in the direst of circumstances. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
To make this prayer more effective, first let us rebuke the use of repetitive words and broken language in prayers. Jesus warned us not to use vain repetitions as the heathen do. Instead, we should pray believing with faith, trusting that God hears us and will answer according to His will.
The scriptures say, When you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Most certainly, I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. In praying, don't use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking. Therefore don't be like them, for your Father knows what things you need, before you ask him, Matthew 6:5-8.
We know that you are hurting, but we must not be afraid to address other issues. We noticed that you used the phrase "make him" in reference to your husband becoming a born-again Christian. It is important to remember that God has given each of us free will, and we cannot force someone to become a Christian. They must make that choice for themselves. However, we can pray for their soul and that God would draw them to Him. The scriptures says, No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day, John 6:44.
The Scripture also says, A wife must not depart from her husband; but if she departed, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband. Let the husband render to the wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife doesn't have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband doesn't have authority over his own body, but the wife. Don't deprive one another, except it be by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan doesn't tempt you for your lack of self-control, 1 Corinthians 7:11-15.
Concerning your marriage, we pray not only for unity but that your marriage strong and both of you grow closer to God and to each other.
Lord, we pray for this marriage. We pray that both will grow closer to God and to each other. We pray for spiritual unity in Jesus name, Amen.
