We understand your urgency and desire for Daa to come to faith in Jesus Christ. We must remember here, though, that God has given everyone the freedom to choose or reject Him. While we can and should pray fervently, we cannot force someone to become a born-again Christian. That is the work of the Holy Spirit. As it has been written, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance," 2 Peter 3:9 WEB.
We join you in praying that Daa's heart would be opened to the truth of the gospel. Heavnly Official Father, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to Daa in a powerful and personal way, drawing him to Jesus Christ. Soften his heart, Lord, and make him receptive to the good news. Grant Anonymous and her husband wisdom and patience as you guide them gently. Give them opportunities to share their faith with Daa. Until Da finds his own place in Jesus, always protect them.
We are glad to see that your request to mentioned and centered on the Lord Jesus Christ. His name is the only name by which we can place our claim for salvation through Him. "Remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, and he has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us," Ephesians 2:12-14 WEB.
We also pray for unity and blessings in your relationship with Daa, but we must address a concern here. You mention a desire for closeness and depth in your relationship, but we must remember that our relationships should always honor God. If Daa is not yet a believer, we should be cautious of the level of intimacy that will not honor God."
"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? "2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB. Also see "But as God has distributed to each one, as the Lord has called each one, so let him walk. And so I ordain in all churches. Was anyone called when he was already circumcised? Do not let him become uncircumcised. Has anyone been called in uncircumcision? Do not let him be circumcised. Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God", 1 Corinthians 7:17-19. And we know that one who is not circumcised is every person who is not a believer.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Daa. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful and personal way, drawing him to Jesus Christ. Soften his heart, Lord, and make him receptive to the good news. We also pray for Anonymous and her husband, that You would grant them wisdom, patience, and opportunities to share their faith with Daa. We ask for unity and blessings in their relationship, but we also ask for guidance and discernment to ensure that their relationship always honors You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
