We understand that you are seeking urgent prayer for healing and a successful surgery.

Before we pray together, it is good that you remember that we can come together and pray to God the Father with boldness and confidence because of the salvation we have in Jesus Christ. It is only in Jesus we have the ability to come to God the Father and ask for help. This may seem familiar to you, but the Bible says in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Please carefully consider yourself, as we would be concerned if you are depending on a surgeon alone to fix an eye issue and you did not mention trusting in God as well. The most important consideration is your relationship with God not a relationship with a surgeon. A surrender to God and his will is important. It is unwise to be dependent on compassion from your surgeon. Remember that true compassion is from God. Even if you have this surgery, the long term results could still be in God's hands.

We have some wonderful verses to remind us of God's love and care especially when praying for God to give wisdom to the physicians when performing surgery. For any illness or surgery, we trust God in the ultimate healing. In Psalm 103:2-3 WEB Praise Yahweh, my soul, and dont forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Or in the gospel of Mark 5:34 WEB He said to her, Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be cured of your disease.

Let us pray for your trust in Jesus Christ for your life, your spiritual attitude and your surgery.

Our Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and Your healing power for the one who has submitted this request. We know Your salvation, compassion, love, and kindness are all that is needed for anything we face. We are asking for Your guidance for the upcoming surgery. We know doctors do not always know everything, we know frequently they are depend on medicines and skills for healing but we are believers always dependent on you.

Lord, we ask that You guide Dr. A, during the surgery. Grant them the wisdom and skill needed to perform the operation successfully. We pray for unity and understanding between the patient and the surgeon, and that together they exit the surgery successfully. We ask for your work in Dr A that he may be completely attentive and pointer to you in Jesus Christ. Please Father God grant the patient the ability to tell Dr. A about how knowing Jesus Christ is the most important.

Father God, we ask for Your healing grace, Your will and Your compassion for the patient. Give them patience and comfort and peace for the challenges that may come in having this surgery. If they are anxious or fearful, please help them to trust you and for the peace that passes all understanding as you have promised in your word.
