We understand the urgency and deep desire of your heart for your husband, d'aa, to become a born-again Christian and for unity to be restored in your marriage. We stand with you in prayer and seek God's will according to His word.
Firstly, we commend you for asking in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, John 14:6).
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband, d'aa. Lord, we ask that You soften d'aa's heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. As it is written in Your word, 'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.' (Romans 10:13, WEB). We pray that d'aa would call on the name of Jesus and be born again by Your Spirit.
We also ask for unity in their marriage, Lord. 'Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.' (Ephesians 4:3, WEB). We pray that You would bind them together with an unbreakable love and connection, that they would be in agreement and grow closer, stronger, and deeper in every way.
We stand against any forces that seek to divide or destroy this marriage. 'What God has joined together, let no one separate.' (Mark 10:9, WEB). Please heal and strengthen this holy matrimony, in Jesus' name."
We encourage you to continue to be a light to your husband, showing him the love of Christ in your words and actions. Remember, 'Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord... Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it.' (Ephesians 5:22-25, WEB).
Be patient and persistent in prayer, trusting that God is at work. 'Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.' (Galatians 6:9, WEB).
Lastly, we remind you to 'be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.' (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Amen. We stand with you in faith, hoping and believing that God will answer your prayers according to His will.
