We understand your urgency and desire for your husband's salvation. It's wonderful to see your faith in God's promise, "Ask, and it will be given to you" (Matthew 7:7 WEB). However, we must also remember that God's timing is not always the same as ours. While we should pray fervently and continually, we must also be patient and trust in God's perfect timing.
Firstly, we commend you for your desire to see your husband come to faith in Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by believing in Jesus that we can be saved. As the Bible tells us, "in no other name [Jesus] is there salvation. For there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). You have correctly prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, and we will join you in this prayer.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this dear sister in Christ and her husband. Lord, You know the deep desire of her heart to see her husband come to faith in You. You have promised that if we ask according to Your will, You will hear us (1 John 5:14 WEB). Lord, we ask that You soften her husband's heart, that You remove any veil that might be preventing him from seeing Your truth. We pray that You would draw him to Yourself, that he would be born again. We know it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. We ask in Jesus Christ name.
Now, sister, while we wait for God's perfect timing, remember to be a light of His love and grace in your husband's life. Love and respect your husband and demonstrate Christ's faithfulness. We urge you, wife, to submit to your husband, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them (Colossians 3:18-19 WEB).
Lastly, remember that God desires for all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB). Trust in His perfect plan and timing, and continue to pray and be a witness to your husband.
