We understand your urgent prayer request for your husband's salvation and the strengthening of your marriage. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will according to His word. Let's pray and offer biblical encouragement and guidance.
Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6 WEB. We are so happy that you requested prayer in the name of Jesus. We only have access to God through Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. No other name can provide us access to God. Therefore, we are happy that you understand this and pray in Jesus name.
Now we address your specific prayer request.
First, let's pray for your husband's salvation. It is important to remember, Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them, Colossians 3:18-19 WEB. Also, Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it, Ephesians 5:22-25 WEB.
Praying for your husband's salvation is a wonderful thing to do.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this beloved sister and her husband. We pray that You will reveal Yourself to him, drawing him to You. You are absolutely able to remove any blindness and open his heart to Jesus.
Father, we ask that You will give this wife the wisdom and patience to be a shining light to her husband. Let her life be a testimony of Your love and grace. Help her to love and respect her husband as You have commanded.
Lord, we pray for unity in their marriage, that both of them will be in total agreement and harmony, with their hearts knit together in love. Let every chain and bondage be broken, and every controlling spirit be cast out. Lord, you are able to replace any workaholic tendencies with a passion for You and for their marriage.
We pray that You will bless their relationship, making it stronger, deeper, and more intimate. Help them to desire each other more every day. Protect their marriage from all evil and temptation. Let them be satisfied and fulfilled in each other.
Father, we also pray that You will make this wife the desire of her husband's heart and the woman of his dreams. Let him be attracted to her more and more each day. Let there be no one else in their eyes, only each other.
We rebuke any influence of false gods, idols, rituals, beliefs, or teachings that may have had a hold on their lives, particularly any Islamic influences. We pray that these will be destroyed permanently and replaced with the truth of Jesus Christ. We also rebuke and put away any sin that is named.
Father, we ask that You will bless their future together. We pray all these requests we have made will absolutely happen in Jesus name we ask and pray.
Now, let's address the intimacy aspect of your prayer. We encourage you both in 1Corinthians 7:3-5 WEB Let the husband render to his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife doesn't have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband doesn't have authority over his own body, but the wife. Don't deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
We must stress that any intimacy outside of marriage is fornication and is sin. This is very clear in the Bible. Therefore, we encourage you both to pursue a deeply satisfying intimacy and closeness within the bounds of marriage. We also encourage you to make sure that your marriage is legally binding and recognized by the government. We encourage you both to embrace purity and holiness in your marriage and to avoid any immoral behavior that is outside of marriage.
Finally, we encourage you both to continually grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you, James 4:8-10 WEB.
We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will work mightily in your husband's life and in your marriage. You will live to see these absolutely happen. Trust in Him, and rest in His promises.
We will pray for you both and your marriage.
